Introduction
Originally founded by three sisters and their husbands, Phil-Am Trading, Inc. has been a family-owned and operated business since 1973.
Since 2003, Phil-am Trading, Inc. has risen to become one of the leading importers of Filipino and Asian foods on the East coast. We import and distribute a variety of frozen, canned, dried products, seasonings, and a wide array of grocery products from the Philippines to all the leading retailers and restaurants. Since we buy in mass quantities, we are able to provide our customers with consumer-friendly prices that keep their customers coming back for more.
Through the years, we have built a positive reputation by importing brands that are manufactured with care. From the time it is loaded into the container until it reaches our docks, we take pride in making sure that each individual product is packed and handled so you receive everything we offer in excellent condition. We are a family-owned and operated business that goes the extra mile to ensure that our customers get the satisfaction that they deserve.
We have over a thousand products in our inventory and always researching to expand our existing product lines. Often, we travel to the Philippines and find products we feel best suit our customer base. Through hard work and dedication to the products we offer, we earned the rights to be distributors of the following brands: Phil-Am, Silver Swan, Maalikaya Brand, Golden Saba, Magnolia, Orientex, Manila Gold, Pampanga’s Best, Fisher Farms, and Selecta Mellorine. In time, we hope to expand to bring the products that you want to your nearest store shelves.
Our Way
At Phil-am Trading, Inc., we pride ourselves on developing strong relationships with both our customer base, and our suppliers. We collaborate creatively with our clients, and develop relationships built on mutual success, augmented with hard work, and an emphasis on frequent communication, and compromise. We find nothing better than combining our active resources with our suppliers' to provide all of our customers total satisfaction for every product that we sell.
Distribution
Our goal is to try to distribute all of our products in the fastest, most reliable way. We distribute our products through one of the following options: a trucking service at the client's discretion, pick-up from our warehouse, or delivery to neighboring towns in the tri-state area. Our Team
Sales associates and other warehouse personnel are trained to answer customers' questions about packing, price, and demand. They will try in every way possible to make sure that you get the top quality merchandise that you deserve. Each associate can help you pick the specific products that are perfect for your store or restaurant. Also, if you are a new business, our associates have the expertise to guide you in filling up your shelves.
